Dalziel Invited to Charity Event; Rolex Tickets to be Auctioned Off

Orlando, Florida. (Sept. 13, 2008) – Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 driver Ryan Dalziel, who will finish the 2008 season in the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ford Riley Daytona Prototype, will be on hand for the Bridges of Light Foundation’s fifth annual “Player’s Ball” Gala, Saturday 13th September, in Orlando, Fla.

Dalziel, who earned his first career Rolex Series victory earlier this season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, will also give four lucky participants the opportunity to enjoy the 2009 Rolex 24 At Daytona as his guests. Dalziel will donate four VIP tickets for the annual twice-around-the-clock classic, which are among the items to be auctioned off. Dalziel has come close to winning the race, having finished second in 2007 as a member of the four-driver SAMAX lineup.

The fantastic night of cocktails, dancing, dining and gaming will start at 6 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Sponsorships and tables are still available, but limited. The Bridges of Light Foundation was established in 2004 with the objective to raise money for distribution specifically for children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. All money goes directly to helping these children. The Bridges of Light Foundation is made up of only volunteers and mentors, who care very deeply about the welfare of the children in our community.  They are left to be cared for by the state, in hopes of being adopted by a foster care family who will love and protect them.  In most cases, the children stay in these facilities until the age of 18.  The Bridges of Light Foundation’s job is to produce young men and women who head off to college to live a productive life with mentors who will guide and help them succeed with strength from what they have experienced.
