A PROMISING WEEKEND FOR JaguarRSR AT ROAD AMERICA

Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (August 22, 2010) - It was a busy weekend for the JaguarRSR team at Road America for Round 7 of the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón. The drivers, engineers, crew worked hard to make more gains in the JaguarRSR XKR GT, but unfortunately did not have the chance to see the end result on-track.

Ryan Dalziel took the green flag this afternoon, and was the qualifying driver putting the Jaguar racer 11th on the GT grid. He drove a solid first half of the race, before the clutch malfunctioned on the pit stop and developed a slip that eventually took the car out of the race. Dalziel was running eighth in class when he had to retire.

"It is a disappointing finish to an actual positive weekend," said Dalziel. "I think we made good chassis gains and we had a decent car all weekend. We will go back, regroup, take the positives out of this weekend and put them into play for the next couple of races coming up."

JaguarRSR Principal Partner Paul Gentilozzi summed it up best by saying, "I am disappointed not to finish this race, especially as we had four races in a row with solid finishes. I am proud of the entire team for all the hard work they did this weekend. We have made good progress with the Jaguar XKR GT and I look forward to continued improvements at Mosport."

The team will return to their base in East Lansing, Michigan for a short turn-around prior to the Mobil One Presents the Grand Prix of Mosport next weekend, August 27 - 29.
