The Bridges of Light Foundation was established in 2004 with the objective to raise money for distribution specifically for children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. All money goes directly to helping these children. The Bridges of Light Foundation is made up of only volunteers and mentors, who care very deeply about the welfare of the children in our community. They are left to be cared for by the state, in hopes of being adopted by a foster care family who will love and protect them. In most cases, the children stay in these facilities until the age of 18. The Bridges of Light Foundation’s job is to produce young men and women who head off to college to live a productive life with mentors who will guide and help them succeed with strength from what they have experienced.
