After a good start, the Canadian ran a trouble free first stint and handed the car to Ryan Dalziel. Ryan Dalziel took the wheel of the #8 Corsa Car Care machine and fought all race to try to put himself in contention to finish on the podium. Dalziel battled over an hour with the 4th place car of Wilkins but was not able to pass him and had to settle for 5th.
Bad Luck Struck Starworks Drivers In Canada!
- 07 September 2010
After 8 laps in the Montreal 200, bad luck struck for the #8 Corsa Car Care Starworks Motorsport race car driven at the time by Canadian, Mike Forest. A ring and pinion failure stopped the potential winning effort of Forest and Dalziel and was costly for Ryan in the driver championship, who lost four positions. Since he too did not score points, Mike Forest is now 11th in the point standings. Following an ultra competitive showing in practice on Friday where Dalziel was one of the fastest drivers in all sessions and the fastest in the third session, the Starworks duo had extreme hopes for the race and the elusive first win for Starworks Motorsport was a true possibility.

Starworks Motorsport Mid-Ohio Race Review
- 22 June 2010
Last Saturday’s Mid-Ohio Rolex Series event saw the two Starworks Motorsport show great pace and unfortunate racing incidents that led the #7 car to finish 11th and the #8 car to finish 13th. The team left Mid-Ohio disappointed with the finishes after showing incredible potential from both car. Despite the finishes, the team accrued additional racing experience and confidence that they are getting closer to their first victory. Starworks Motorsport had both of its cars take turns in the lead. Mike Forest led eight laps in the #8 Corsa Car Care entry, while Nelson Philippe paced 18 laps midway through the race in the #7 Flex-Box BMW/Riley started by Bill Lester and Ryan Dalziel turned the fastest race lap of the event by .3 seconds!

As the car was pulled out of the #9 garage and into its pit box this evening for the free practice session, JaguarRSR Principal Partner and co-drive Paul Gentilozzi was behind the wheel ready to turn the first laps in the XKR racer. But a clutch problem changed the plan and put the car back into the garage for investigation. Once that was sorted out, it was Scottish driver Ryan Dalziel who got into the cockpit and logged the first laps at Le Mans in Jaguar's return.

LAP AROUND MAZDA RACEWAY LAGUNA SECA by Ryan Dalziel
- 19 May 2010
Starting your lap - Your first time climbing up the steep start finish straight, cresting the top of the hill and pulling top gear is awesome. The car gets light and the track on the other side is completely blind till you land on the downside of the hill. You have to use the pedestrian bridge across the track at the top as a reference for where to position the car cresting the hill, something that is very important as we drive around the rest of Laguna Seca Raceway.
