Ryan Dalziel Joins The Driver Line Up At JaguarRSR For 2010 ALMS Season

EAST LANSING, Michigan (February 19, 2010) – The pieces to the puzzle keep coming together for the JaguarRSR race program as the team announces today that Ryan Dalziel has been signed to the driver line up for competition in the 2010 American Le Mans Series.

Scotland’s Ryan Dalziel Wins ‘Rolex 24 at Daytona’

Daytona Beach, Florida (January 31, 2010) – Scotland’s Ryan Dalziel, together with his team-mates in the #9 Action Express Racing Porsche-Riley Daytona Prototype, triumphed Sunday (31st January) in the prestigious ‘Rolex 24 at Daytona’, America’s premier 24 hour-long endurance race.  
 
The 48th running of the event was again hosted at the Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida while celebrating the opening round of the 2010 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Presented by Crown Royal Cask No.16.

Dalziel and Starworks Launch race4haiti.com

raceforhaiti.pngOrlando, Florida (January 27, 2010) – As Starworks Motorsport makes its debut competing in the ‘Rolex 24 at Daytona’ this weekend, Saturday 30th – Sunday 31st January, the team, along with Scotland’s Ryan Dalziel, will actively be encouraging race fans to donate to Dunamis Medical Missions in the wake of the Haiti earthquake.

Peter Baron, Starworks Motorsport Team Principal, has created the website – www.race4haiti.com, where online donations can be made with all funds raised going directly to Dunamis Medical Missions – a group of American doctors and nurses already active in Haiti before the devastating earthquakes but now with an even greater need to bring medical supplies and help to the region.

Ryan Dalziel 2010 Preview Q&A

AER1_001.JPGOrlando, Florida (January 20, 2010) – Scotland’s Ryan Dalziel can put the frustrations of an incomplete 2009 racing schedule firmly behind him having been confirmed for a full-season competing in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in 2010.

Dalziel (27) will start the season later this month driving in the ‘Rolex 24 at Daytona’ for Action Express Racing.  He’ll be teamed behind the wheel of the #9 Riley-Porsche Daytona Prototype with Terry Borcheller, Joao Barbosa and Mike Rockenfeller for the endurance classic.  Post Daytona, the Orlando-based racer will join the all-new Starworks Motorsport outfit to complete the season sharing the #8 Riley-BMW Daytona Prototype with Mike Forest.

Motorsport Technology Group Signs Dalziel

Orlando, Florida (June 11, 2009) – Ryan Dalziel has been signed up by the Virginia-based Motorsport Technology Group organization to race their Porsche 997 GS in the remainder of the 2009 Koni Sports Car Challenge, sanctioned by Grand-Am. Rolex 24 Qualifying Has Its Ups and Downs

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Jan. 22 - At first it looked like Alegra Motorsports' Ryan Dalziel qualified fifth on Thursday afternoon at Daytona International Speedway for this weekend's Rolex 24, but now it appears the car will start 19th or 20th in the Daytona Prototype class when the green flag flies at 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The change occurred because unfortunately the team's Riley BMW didn't pass the post-qualifying technical inspection due to a ride-height violation caused by a splitter failure, forcing it to the back of the Daytona Prototype field for the start.
